Reason for joining the board of Fortress of Hope: I was a part of the original group that visited Nicaragua in 2008. That gave me the inspiration to help draw together people who could start this children's home where each child is loved beyond measure, food and physical care is the norm, and children have the opportunity to receive a formal education.
